ADHD Success Is A Team Process
Earlier today I had an opportunity to discuss ADHD coaching with some of the experts taking part in the ADHD Awareness Marathon. On the call were:
- Tara McGillicuddy, host and organizer
- Nancy Ratey, author and ADHD Coach
- Judi Jerom, ADHD Coach and therapist
- Dr. Rory Stern, yous truly of course…
We had a pretty lively discussion about coaching and what it really means in the grand scheme of ADHD support.
I am including the replay of the call…
Note: If you listened to the call I posted yesterday, you’ll notice that I am a lot quieter on this one. I was really excited to hear from Nancy and about her book, The Disorganized Mind.

At the beginning, you’ll note that we all agreed that coaching is just a part of the team approach that is necessary to successfully manage ADHD.
It’s just not enough (for most people anyway) to see a prescribing doctor and therapist anymore. Effective management of ADHD really requires a team. While that team often includes professionals, it can also include close friends, family members, and mentors… It doesn’t always take a professional!
